Since 2019, I’ve been working with individuals to help them find clarity and confidence in their career-related decisions. I can easily relate to and understand people with Eastern and Western cultural values due to growing up and studying both in the Middle East and North America. I knew early on that I was meant to be a teacher, my first student was our neighbour’s daughter when I was in elementary school, and I went on to hold tutoring positions throughout my high school and undergrad studies. Through my undergrad tutoring roles, I found myself automatically coaching students to make big decisions about their future majors, university, and careers. Hence, I decided to study career development to increase my effectiveness as a coach.
